DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

Coming during the first half of 2003, we will introduce a brand new digital library platform. This will allow corporate and broadcast customers to have reliable and fast access to their recorded video content. And it will mean easy re-purposing of camera original footage into new video programs, thus saving the expense of re-shooting. It will also allow customers to quickly retrieve select scenes for news media usage.

Our digital asset management service will allow authorized producers to search for footage over the Internet, then electronically request select scene compilations.

Our approach is to transfer customer supplied footage digitally to Betacam SX format, then return original tapes to the customer. This way, the footage remains in pristine digital quality, can be densely stored by us and suffers no degradation upon transfer.

We will never lend customer footage that has been cloned onto BETACAM SX digital format. Only a compilation, usually on Digital Betacam, will be sent to authorized users.
