Our Company

Magnacom was founded in 1984 and is a digital television services company that supplies business and entertainment customers with video and television services.

Ron Shaw is the principal and sole shareholder of the company. Associates include project managers Al Rosen and Scott Griffin and general service associates Camille Smith and Jennifer Honneus. Associates are retained on flexible hours according to workload.

The newest members of our team are Elaine Banks, Operations and Design Specialist, Matt Falkenham, Senior Production Specialist, and Robert Abbatangelo, Production Specialist.

Our Customers

Typically our business customers work in corporate communications, public affairs, sales and marketing, advertising and human resource departments in medium to large corporations, within North America.

Our entertainment customers are broadcasters, producers, specialty channels and production facilities.

All our customers use our services when they want to engage and communicate with their employees, customers, shareholders and community.

Our Services We provide consulting and full production services for any digital television or video project. We do DVD, VideoCD and MPEG encoding, which are the conversion of traditional video to digital platforms. We manage Internet video (commonly known as webcasting), fiber and satellite feeds plus we have some unique equipment to solve production problems. Two new ventures which will be launching this year and next, are a service called Digital Asset Management, which is a digital library of customer television projects, and WealthNet Television, a CRTC licensed specialty channel.
