Connected Through Time and Space
In the spring of 2012, Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto engaged Magnacom to produce a new video to showcase their story and to celebrate 35 years of success in the community. We did this by interviewing supporters and members of MCC, who told some amazing stories of how their lives were made more complete, how they found a spiritual home, and how MCC fulfills an important role in society. |
MCC is no ordinary church. It is vibrant, as demonstrated in its world class music program. It is inclusive and welcomes people of all faiths, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. It is progressive in its adoption of modern methods and practices. MCC does have a focus on the LGBT community, but it is not an exclusive focus. Magnacom has never been involved in a church project before, but our engagement with MCC has been a terrific experience - far beyond a simple business opportunity. |
In the fall of 2012, MCC Toronto held a fundraising event called Bridges that gathered influential members of the community to connect with MCC. Magnacom was a part of this event too. Guests at Bridges were entertained by members of the MCC choir, soloists, and musicians led by music director Diane Leah.

The emcee for the afternoon event was renowned broadcaster Peter Mansbridge. Several other public leaders spoke and of course MCC Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Brent Hawkes, delivered an enlightening talk. Magnacom was thrilled to be a part of this gala event. We worked alongside an audio production company and we provided our HD projection systems, LED and conventional lighting, power distribution, plus computer graphics, robotic cameras for image magnification, and HD video playback. |
